https://K2International.as.me/
Delivered only by Paramedics, Specialist Paramedics and/or Doctors over 20 days Monday to Friday followed by 750 hours paid placement with APG Alliance Pioneer Group (APG) pending satisfactory background and governance checks. K2 International has teamed up with APG to provide paid placement (£16 to £19 per hour depending on the shift) on frontline emergency ambulances with a paramedic or EMT mentor. APG have also generously offered to cover the accomodation costs and provide blue light training to K2I students (NB: Accommodation is not covered whilst on blue light course) - an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to become an EMT and wants a widely recognised qualification. With this partnership our students will more than double their investment on the training course before they even qualify (assuming base rate of £16ph for 750 hours this will earn the candidate £12,000). Alternatively, candidates could choose to do their placement hours with our other partner agency - Global Medical Projects (GMP). GMP can offer frontline ambulance and emergency department placements in several countries around the world. Two of our instructors have availed of their Guadalajara, Mexico placement and can highly recommend it (NB this is at the candidates own expense and costs approximately £3, 000 not including flights and spending money - accommodation is provided).
Intended Audience
The regulated and nationally recognised Qualsafe Level 5 Diploma in First Response Emergency and Urgent Care (RQF) has been specifically designed for those within the Prehospital care sector who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide out-of-hospital emergency and urgent care supporting registered healthcare professionals and others.
