Intended Audience
This qualification is for people who are employed by, or contracted to, an NHS Trust or CQC Registered Ambulance Service (Independent or Voluntary Aid Society) with the required authorisation to undergo training in emergency response ambulance driving.
Overview
Through theory and practical sessions, the Qualsafe Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (RQF) (CERAD) qualification gives learners the knowledge and skills to drive an ambulance routinely and respond to incidents in a range of environments under emergency and non-emergency conditions.
Assessment Methods
8 x Practical Assessments – assessed by trainer
2 x Practical Assessments – assessed by an independent assessor
2 x Multiple Choice Question Papers (includes road signs question paper)
1 x Learner Workbook.
