Intended Audience
Originally designed to cater to the need of news and media personnel operating in the extreme environments of conflicts and natural disasters, the MOET course is eminently suitable for any individual operating in a small team in hostile or conflict areas.
Overview
Delivered only by Specialist Paramedics and/or Doctors with the assistance of Field Craft and Security experts over 3 consecutive days, but can be split up and taught in non-consecutive days to suit schedules/rotas for groups of 6 or more upon request.
Over 3 days, the following skills and knowledge are covered:
Ballistic trauma
Road traffic collision
Acute coronary events
Infections
Travellers’ diarrhoea
Diabetes / hypoglycaemia
Climatic injuries
Armour fitting and sizing
